With a subtle (?) mix of (very) personal compositions and (very) out of the ordinary covers, Marc now presents his new repertoire, which he is presenting on stage before recording his (hypothetical) next (concept?) album.

But do we still need albums at this time of free download and massive streaming ? (and isn't there way too much parenthesis?)

A reckless project, where he spells a few names ( A-U-D-R-E-Y, I-S-A-B-E-L, and his own as name of the project) and diverts some classics : a Queen in dub, a Stones in reggae, or the other way around, a Beatles Monty Python way (but not the Ruttles), … and even Brel, Ferré et Beni Benassi are stretching their necks out.

 

Filled with references and with samples (Bashung, Rage Against The Machine, dEUS, Peter Gabriel, Gossip, Police, 801, PJ Harvey, Devo, Doors, ... even Balavoine, Cabrel and the lyrics from a Christmas carol).
